Pros: The staff are warm, courteous, and professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere from check-in to check-out. Rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable retreat. The overall ambience is refined and international, reminiscent of upscale hotels abroad. Breakfast was enjoyable, though a wider selection would elevate the experience. Cons: Ongoing construction nearby caused significant noise disruptions, and unfortunately, guests weren’t notified in advance. The elevator is quite cramped, barely accommodating four people, and the second elevator was out of service during the stay. Bedside lamps appear outdated, and there were visible signs of water damage on the bathroom door and around the A.C. duct on the ceiling. Bottom Line: If you're visiting Port Harcourt for work or relaxation, Ogeyi Place Hotel offers a solid stay with a great location and pleasant service—just be mindful of a few maintenance and infrastructure hiccups.

I stayed one night at Ogeyi Place Hotel while passing through on my way to work. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood, and the rooms are well laid out with a comfortable bed, small sitting area, and a desk that made it easy to get some work done. Everything was clean and tidy, both in the room and around the hotel. The food was good, nicely served with a decent variety of options. The AC worked but didn’t cool the room down to the temperature I’m used to, so while I wasn’t hot, it also wasn’t quite cool enough for a fully restful sleep. Overall, a good experience with comfortable rooms and friendly service.

An old hotel, but one that has truly mastered the art of hospitality! The rooms are clean, the sheets crisp, and the bathrooms always spotless — a big win for me. The beds are among the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and their breakfast is something I always look forward to — hearty, rich, and usually very tasty. Definitely my preferred hotel in Port Harcourt!

This used to be the Le Meridian Ogeyi Place. Some reviews say poor service. But i only experienced good friendly service. Almost all staff had smiles and very welcoming. Much nicer than Lagos! Compared to the Presidential, I would stay here next time without question. Someone lost some jewelery at the pool side and the next day found it, thanks to the amazing staff at the restaurant and pool. Honestly is at another level here.

I'm not sure about lodging, but the meals and restaurant service are amazing. Looking for the perfect buffet that will leave completely satisfied? This is the place.

I loved my room. It's spacious. They come in to clean, change the sheets, and replace toiletries every day. But... rugs in hotel rooms should be banned because it will definitely smell. The room is cosy though, their food is very good and the staff are really nice.

I was here for 3 nights, for a friends wedding! I must say they exceeded my expectations! The customer service is great! Every single staff are friendly. They care about you! The Rooms are nice and spacious.. the food is also decent too.
